A little about me

The parts of software you don’t see

I’m a software engineer in Riyadh. For the past seven-plus years I’ve built the invisible side of software — the cloud platforms, databases, and behind-the-scenes services that keep apps fast, safe, and online.

These days I’m a Development Expert at the Saudi Cloud Computing Company (SCCC) — the team bringing Alibaba Cloud to Saudi Arabia — where I modernize backend platforms and databases, build billing systems where every decimal matters, and create AI agents that handle real work instead of just demos.

I like boring architecture, useful automation, and systems that keep working after the demo is over.

Hand-built, shipped from a Docker container on a tiny server in the cloud — with its own private mail server living next door.

AWS serverless

CSV cruncher

Built on the AWS stack: files land in S3, an S3 event notification wakes a Lambda function, and the data is processed before you’ve finished your coffee.

Game dev

Battle Rattle

A 2D battle-royale game built with the Godot engine. The real final boss was the physics engine.
